How Does Sludge Filter Press Work
Sludge filter press dewaters the sludge and wastewater by pumping the slurry into a series of empty chambers that are formed by the plates of the filter press. Each plate is lined with filter media, solids are distributed evenly during the fill cycle. Solids build up on the filter cloth, forming the filter cake; the filtrate exits the filter plates through the corner ports into the manifold, yielding clean filtered water.
